The FMU BCM is supported by the South Carolina Baptist Convention and local churches. We are an official student organization of Francis Marion University.
Kendal is from NC and graduated with a Bachelors in Sociology from Appalachian State University where he met his wife, Jennifer. He went to seminary at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to obtain his Master’s degree. He has worked in college ministry for 25 years and has a passion for discipling college students. He and Jennifer have 3 daughters, Jordan, Lydia, and Anna.
If you haven’t met him yet, you can find him at many of the sporting events around FMU, cheering on the Patriots! Feel free to drop by during the week and say hello to Kendal at the BCM building.
Mandy is from Florence, SC and graduated with a Bachelors in Biology from Francis Marion University. She met her husband Robert at BCM during their time at Francis Marion. Mandy and Robert both served on the BCM Leadership team and as BCM summer missionaries. They have 2 children, Jackson and Elizabeth Grace.
Riley is from Myrtle Beach, SC and just graduated from Francis Marion in May 2024 with a Biology degree with plans to go to Physical Therapy School. Her favorite things about Francis Marion as a student were the community she found at BCM and the different experiences she was able to have there. During her free time you can find her reading, going to the beach or spending time with her family and friends. Riley is passionate about seeing students go deeper in their faith and growing closer to Jesus during their college years.
